Land for Zano raMwari Institute
- The Institute will be situated on a 500 hectare piece of land. This is agricultural land.
- The Ministry of Lands, Land Reform and Rural Resettlement in Zimbabwe has been contacted and will make this land available.
- Land will only be released when Touch Their Hearts Foundation, has shown the Ministry evidence that 50% of the required funds are available.
- These funds will go to initiate phase 1 of the project – agricultural equipment, land preparation, seed, fertilizer, buildings.
Zano raMwari Institute and its “neighbours”
The Institute will endeavour to:
- Assist widows and the aged in their ploughing and harvesting activities and efforts to provide themselves with clean drinking water near their homes. This, the institute shall do to the best of its capabilities using equipment in its possession.
The Institute in order to raise funds shall:
- During school holidays hire out facilities such as the main hall and classrooms with the money going into the housing maintenance and building fund
- Charge a reasonable rent for all employee houses with the money going into the housing maintenance and building fund
- Hire out equipment. Equipment will hired out at reasonable prices with the money going into an agricultural and service equipment and maintenance fund.
